BLOG READER Q - OUTLET SHOPPING?

Hey Leigh,

Nice blog. Just wondering, are there any factory outlets in Rhode Island?

Hey Blog Reader,

You sound way too calm for a last minute shopper, what gives?

Yes, there are factory outlets in Rhode Island. However they are scattered all over the state, and most do not sell clothes. For that you'll have to hit T.J. Maxx. The Wrentham Village Outlets in Massachusetts, 15 minutes north of Providence, or Clinton Crossings, 30 minutes south of Westerly in Connecticut, are the closest traditional outlet shopping centers to us.

Other factory stores within our tiny parameters include the following...

1) Samsonite/American Tourister Company Store, Warren.
2) Ann & Hope Outlet, Warwick.
3) Lorraine Fabric Mills, Pawtucket.
4) Wilson Leather Outlet, Warwick.
5) Sears Appliance Outlet store, Fall River, MA. (I'm cheating, but it's close to RI)
6) Grossman's Bargain Outlet, Woonsocket.
7) Lenox Gorham Factory Outlet, Smithfield.
8) Dansk Factory Outlet, Newport.

Hope that helps. Don't drain your wallet! ;)
